Skype App for the iPhone in iTunes Store

I just downloaded and installed the new iPhone Skype App. It works
great!

What about overseas? I saw your earlier post about assigning a PIN code to your phone so you can "disable" the SIM card and still use the iPhone over wifi and the like for everything but phone calls. Can you then use the Skype app, say, in London? And can you walk the cat back so when you're not overseas you can use the phone normally and not have to type in that PIN code every time you want to make a call?
